Sherine

Registered Physiotherapist

Sherine is a transmasculine physiotherapist residing in Burnaby, Canada. Originally from Hong Kong, Sherine moved to Burnaby with his family at a young age, where they developed a passion for martial arts and human kinetics, leading them to a career in physical therapy. Sherine started questioning their gender identity during high school but did not have the resources and language at the time to understand these feelings. It was not until his late adolescence that Sherine began to truly explore his gender identity, and in his mid-twenties he finally started his medical transition. As an Asian-Canadian and transmasculine individual, Sherine brings a unique perspective to their practice, creating a safe and affirming environment for clients who share similar ethnic and gender backgrounds. Outside of work, Sherine loves to stay active through martial arts, weightlifting, and hiking. They also enjoy exploring local cafes and indulging in novels and various puzzles.
